Cleaning Forum
1. Iron Caused Odd Carpet StainsI attempted to remove the indentations left by my furniture with a steam iron and water. I was able to remove the indentations, but now there are stains in every spot that I used the iron. They look like wet spots, but are dry to the touch. I don't know what they could be or how to remove them without making more of a mess. Could the steam have released some past chemical in the carpet? Help?! Thank you. Mary
Recipes Forum1. Chai Tea Recipe NeededLooking for a good easy chai tea recipe, I buy the aussie brand Lipton Chai Latte eight sacket in a box costing close to $6 as I love the taste and use daily I was hopeful of making a recipe at home close to the commercial taste.

FRUGAL FINANCES
Financial Privacy
There are more than 8 million new victims of identity theft each year in the U.S. Many of these victims find that crooks have used stolen personal information like Social Security numbers to open new accounts in their victim's name.
A security freeze gives consumers the choice to "freeze" or lock access to their credit file against anyone trying to open up a new account or to get new credit in their name.
When a security freeze is in place at all three major credit bureaus, an identity thief cannot open a new account because the potential creditor or seller of services will not be able to check the credit file. When the consumer is applying for credit, he or she can lift the freeze temporarily using a PIN so legitimate applications for credit or services can be processed.

Recycle Gas BBQ GrillMy hubby came up with a way to recycle our old BBQ gas grill. He removed the grill and the lid, then secured three planks on the top of base.......making a great garden work table, that can be moved anywhere with the wheels that came with grill. I used it today to pot plants........just thought I would share this great idea for your old gas grill. By teatime44
Gnats in the KitchenI don't know why but this seems to work and I'm glad it does! I've had a horrible problem with those little gnats that hang around the kitchen. I cleaned eveyr possible surface, didn't keep fruit out, used Clorox wipes... I just don't know what they're still after! Then I read somehwere... mix equal parts of lemon scent dish detergent and apple cider vinegar. Since doing so, I've seen ONE gnat! And it was dead in the cider/soap mixture! IF this is an issue at your house - try it! You'll be amazed! By vlozano
