I read somewhere that birds usually spit out ladybugs because of their bad taste. Here's a website I found with some information on ladybugs:

A moderate diet of most bugs (including lady bugs) will not harm your pet.  :)

I would ask your Vet.  Do so quickly in case there might be some sort of adverse effect. Your pets health is not worth saving a few bucks.

does anyone know if lady bugs can harm pets if they eat them
