jogging is very good and can aid in burning body fat and is also good for overall good health, but if you are actually wanting to burn body fat jogging is no the best thing but a different technique of running. High intensity interval training (HIIT) is the proven best way to burn body fat. start off with a jog for around 2 mins after 2mins sprint as fast as you can for a minute, after then minute then go back to a steady jog for another minute then back to a sprint again. repeat this alternating from sprint to jog in minute intervals until you have ran for a total of 12mins. if you do this each day or every other day, even if you just do it a few time a week you will be well on your way to burning unwanted body fat.

Jogging can burn off a lot of calories. I tried dieting for many years and just couldn't keep the weight off over the long term until a friend talked me into jogging with here. Actually I was so out of shape I had to  start off with a fast walk, but in a few weeks I worked by way up to a slow jog. Now I am an avid jogger and have been for many years. I am 66 and in great condition. For anyone who would like to try jogging for weight loss and overall good health here is an excellent source of advice and information.
