How do you feel about "Fried Green Tomatoes"?
We love them.  My husband joked that we would never have any ripe tomatoes because I was frying all the green ones.

I slice them and dip them in egg and water mixture, bread them in a flour, cornmeal mix and fry in hot oil.

I have Plenty of green tomatoes !!
and if summer doesnt' last until late Nov. that is ALL I am going to have..
I love the cool summer we have had here in Iowa.. but the tomatoes sure don't :-)
