Pom's were actually a larger breed until somewhat recently.  My pom is small, but, has congenital birth defects which will more than likely decrease his life span, unfortunately.  For additional information, check the americanpomeranianclub.org, or yourpurebredpuppy.com and search for breed reviews and information.

I bought a little Pom 4 years ago.. she's about 5 or 6 pounds.. she's so wonderful I wanted another one.. so went back to the same place to buy another... I did not see the parents.. but was told they were 5 and 7 pounds.. then she started growing..  now she's finished.. at 9 months.. but she must be at least 12 or 13 pounds... has anyone seen a pom this big.. she sure does look pure bred and has papers... she's just BIG
