Swiffer - type cleaners

I like using the Swiffer type cleaners on my floor, between waxing times.  However, has anyone figured out how to make their own solution and refill the bottle (the lid doesn't come off). Mountaindarlin

I pulled the following from 2001 Frugal Life Newsletter--GREAT ideas!!
"If you use the Swiffer type of floor cleaners, their cloths can be reversed to be reused, then washed in the washer, & air dried for reuse.  When they have to be thrown out, I replaced mine with the cheapest fabric softener
sheet and work just as well.  Suz"
