I have used the frames I had before but I had to check around to find a place that had a lens to fit my frame.  I would check the yellow pages adn then drop by some places or it may be that the  numbers on the frame will tell somebody whether they can fit a lens to it or not.

I don't know about a place on the internet, but you could try a Wal-mart vision center. They have offered to use my old frames before when my prescription changed, but it may depend on the frames. I know what you mean about it being a rip-off. My prescription changes every year and I wear both contacts and glasses!

I am in the process of getting my glasses prescription changed.  It has always struck me that glasses are a rip-off; especially the frames.  Is there a place on the net where I can just get my glasses replaced but not the frames?  My frames are in fine condition and I would like to reuse them.
