I know a pest problem is distressful for sure and I don't mean to make you feel bad ... we've had ant problems many times, but I've never been able to buy any of that stuff because I read the labels before I got to the checkout. We've always had pets or children around the house also, so it's not an option.
I grew up with the generation that thought chemicals were miracles ... but now we're finding out what they are doing to our lives, water supplies and the birds and wildlife in it also.
Eventually those poisons will "wear off" so I hope you find another solution for the next time :-)
