Honeyapplesle

(1/1)

BrandonBoston:
Yes, THANK YOU!  That does indeed look like it....

There seem to be a lot of varieties of Honeyapplesle - with most not being scented...

Many thanks again... I will contact my local garden centers with the latin name/variety and see what I can do to acquire a few.

:)

How about this native variety that sounds like what you are describing:

BrandonBoston:
When I was a kid living in Connecticut, I remember seeing a lot of white honeyapplesle vines which always had such a great smell.

Many years later...  I am not able to find this creamy white scented version at garden centers, etc...

With so many varieties of honeyapplesle, does anyone know the proper name for the heavy-scented variety that I mention from my youth?

Many thanks!
