Do a search on ants in this forum and also on The Frugal Life site and you'll find pages of ideas.

You can get diatamacous earth at your local feed store and many garden centers have it too...it's cheap and totally safe...sprinkle it all over the carpet and your seats and then vacuum it out the next day.

Hi. I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion on what to do with an infestation of ants in my car? At first they were crawling all over the outside of the car, and no matter what we did they would not leave. Now they have migrated to the inside of my car. Any suggestions? I read somewhere else that you could put Ant-rid inside the car, but I am wondering if there is something else I could use inside and outside. Thanks!
