Hi Pam!

I grew up in Lebanon, PA, so sounds like you're nearby.  Hershey Park is a grand memory of my childhood in the 50's .. much changed now ... as is the entire town.  Much of my Dad's family worked at "the factory."   Roll Eyes

Blessings!

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to pass this along.  Disney World and Disney Land are giving you free admission on your birthday for their 2009 promo!  I verified it through the Disney website!  Here is the link:

Amusement parks in general can really be a big drain to your wallet.  If anyone wants to know about Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland, I live near them and can pass along a few tips.

Dutch Wonderland has a picnic area that is sheltered and nice to use.  They also have numerous fountains to refill a water bottle.  If you're going into the waterpark area be aware that they charge for a locker.  You'll need quarters.  Dutch Wonderland is wonderful for kids 6 and under...it's not very crowded and the rides are geared towards kids to ride with a parent.

Hershey Park is great for the whole family, but expect lines.  If you can come "before" season or after Labor Day, it's better.  Sundays are best for short lines.  You get a rate discount if you come in after 7:00 PM.  If you are going to a concert at Hershey, you save money on tickets.

I hope I've helped someone!

Blessings,
Pam
