We use plain hot water.  As for a cloth, we use what comes with a camera or binoculars for the lenses.  The eyeglass place recommends a micro-fiber square but I like the idea of the one for the lenses better.  Don't use anything with alcohol since it wears away on the finish I am told.

 Huh i have progressive lenses. i want to know how to clean them cheaply. i want to use my own spray bottle. i already have a cotton t shirt to wipe them any suggestions. thank you
