  Found this recipe for Texas Tuna hope it helps
    11 ounces tuna  drained and flaked

2/3 cup dry milk
  12 saltines crushed
   1/2 cup onion choppes
1/2 cup green chili peppers chopped
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 teaspoon oil
   2 cup tomatoes crushed
1 twaspoon chili powder
2ounces monteray jack cheese shreeded
  In medium bowl combine tuna 'milk, onion, chili peppers,egg, mix well and form into 8 patties, Put oil in 12 inch skillet and lightly brown on both sides 2 to 4 minutes on both sides turn only once, In a small bowlcombine tomatoes and chili powder, and pour over burgers,cover pan and reduce heat to low, simmer till sauce is throughly heated, about 5 minutes, transfer burgers and sauce to flameproof platter, cover with cheese and broil, or till cheese is melted to your taste.

This seems like it will taste good, Thanks.  Actually I was looking for something that you spread on crackers or use as a thick  dip.  My recipe contains old bay seasoning, cayone (sp) pepper, tuna and other things.  I think it has mayonaise and onions as well.  Sorry it took so long for me to reply.  I haven't been on in a few weeks to a month. Been busy.  Thanks any way, anyone else have a recipe for Texas Tuna?
