Some breeds of dogs tend to have odors just naturally.  I use chlorophyl for my pets. If you dont like the idea of putting it in the water, you can get the concentrated capsules and pop them open on their food.  Diet has a lot to do with odor as well.  What brand of food are you feeding?

Many folks use Liquid Chlorophyll in their dog's water.  It cleanses the blood gradually and deodorizes.  The neat thing about it is that it's not just taking smells away ... it's feeding the whole intestinal tract and gently cleaning out the toxins that accumulate in our bodies.  Read more about it here:
www.theherbsplace.com/Chlorophyll_Liquid_16_fl._oz._p_118.html

It's available in pints or quarts.  I have a friend that uses it all the time.  We have a cat and I use it in her water also.  It's mentioned in the pet area of our website:
www.theherbsplace.com/Allergies_Skin_Coat_Problems_page_1_c_92.html

which says this:
Chlorophyll, Liquid - builds healthy blood, improves body and breath odor, tonic and gentle cleanser. Add a squirt or two to pet's water dish daily. Cats Magazine mentions using this for strong odor for male show cats.

Also a "shampoo" that removes odors and is good on the skin (proper pH) is Sunshine Concentrate:

Blessings to you and your pets!

I have a chow/shepard  and a yorkie terrier.  Whenever I give them a bath, there skin and coat is very silky and soft and smells good.  I use a doggie conditoner after each wash. 2 days later the Yorkie's coat feels a little hard  and they both don't have that fresh smell anymore.  Any suggestions?
