end of my car lease charges

 my car lease is going to end on 13th of march 2010, the car is very low in mileage24000, and there is only some dents to the front and back bumper and doors the company wants to charge me $1743.00 what can i do it is not fair at all and besides i cannot afford that what can i do tell me please.
