getting rid of ants

Ants don't like baking soda. A carpet freshener with sodium bi-carbonate left in the carpet for a few days, then vacuumed might work.

 I have ants in my car and CANNOT get rid of them.  But I've found something that keeps them out of the passenger compartment for the most part: coffee grounds.  It smells great, but the inside of my car looks like it's coated with dirt!
