Have you tried looking on Craigslist for your area and making a post for an item wanted?

You could also check on FreeCycle where people post things they need and also things they're giving away.  This is a site that it has to be free:  www.freecycle.org/

You might also ask at local music stores for people turning them in or even call Goodwill and Salvation Army, or other thrift stores to see if they happen to have one.
