split AC - foul emissions

 We have a 1.5 ton mitsubishi split ac installed in our offfice cabin. The ac when switched on causes severe throat infection to the people present and also leaves a very foul after taste on the throat and tongue. Also this effect continues to grow after leaving the ac cabin and you have to live with the foul sour after taste with a slight burning sensation. The air conditioner supplier has checked several times and is unable to rectify the problem.
