Ants on my Oakra plants

 Hi - I have been trying to get rid of ants on my Oakra plants for a month.  I have used numerous safeways w/pepper,garlic,cayanne. I even used DE all over the plants, but they keep coming back and destroying the plants.  I read your article on ants but nothing about in the veggie beds.  Do you have any solution?
