    I live on a farm and I have noticed that I do have to use Frontline more often than I used to.  That is why my first post says Frontline and others like it.  There are new ones out there but I would rather use what I can trust not to cause a reaction in my pets. 
    Because I have children I think using a good flea preventer is a much better option than using things that I have found useless.  I don't want my children getting parasites and using garlic, diatomacious earth, and picking fleas off does not effectively deal with the issue.  It may scare a few away but if you have a severe infestation you know that this approach does not work.
