Good for you! It sounds like you are a smart shopper. Now we know why your login name is the Frugal Millionairess. A good book for everyone here to read is The Millionaire Next Door- it tells you how to save money and have a million dollars or more net worth to retire on. One of the tips is never buy new if you don't have to. This especially applies to cars which depreciate quickly. Furniture is another big expense item and if you can find ways to get it cheaper, you can invest the money you saved and earn money from it. Way to go, Frugal Millionairess.
P.S. One of the things you find out in the book is that the people who spend the most aren't always the people who have the most money, so don't judge a book by it's cover. No matter how much you earn, it's always good to save for a rainy day, or retirement.
