As someone who has somewhat oily facial skin, I learned long ago to exfoliate often to help keep the pores open and get the dead skin off.
I have tried just about every brand out there of “scrubs” and while they all work OK, I found from my dermatologist that a simple paste scrub made of warm water and baking soda works VERY well, without the danger of microabrasions often made with the store-bought granuals found in many scrubs.
Besides, it’s VERY cheap and you really don’t have to use much at all.
Follow up with a good rinsing and then BLOT dry your skin before putting on any kind of moisturizer. Never RUB dry your skin as this takes precious moisture from your skin.
