Amanda – I have had good luck removing acrylic paint from surfaces with Avon’s Skin So Soft or Baby Oil.  Neither of these products will harm the surface like other cleaners meant for this problem.  Put your glass in a shallow dish and cover with the oil and let them soak – most of the paint will float right off and for those sticky places just rub gently with your finger.  Good Luck!

        Amanda,
I’ve been using acrylic paint for over 35 years, and it doesn’t stick very well to plastic. On the lenses of your sunglasses, try your thumbnail, or the end of a Popsicle stick. Be careful if the lenses are plastic. A product called Goo Gone says it removes dried acrylic paint, but the fumes from it are INTENSE :o and can give you a whopper headache. Use it outdoors if possible. I don’t know if it eats plastic since I’ve never used it for that. But I recently got lots of little drops on the plastic face of my wristwatch while painting (with latex) and just smoiked them off with my thumbnail.  Good luck!!

I tried all these opitions to remove bright orange acrylic paint on my son’s black denim jeans. I first washed and dried them with tide. Then tried spray and wash – that did not work. Then windex and most of my $25 bottle of hair spray. I rinsed them out in my kitchen sink and poured a lot of equate(walmart brand) NON ACETONE nail pollish remover and scrubbed it with an old tooth brush. IT MELTED AWAY!!!!! hope it works for you too!!! jessica
