We have hard water and it has stained our glass doors.
How do I get these stains out?

You can use lemon juice that can be applied to a sponge, or you can cut a lemon in half and squeeze as you apply it fresh.

I've also heard that baking soda and vinegar mixed together to make a paste removes these stains.

I use vinegar in my dishwasher sometimes to fight hard water stains. It should work with cleaning showers too. Just dilute it with water and spray the walls and leave it for a while. Wash off with regular water after ten minutes or so. CLR also works really good at getting rid of water stains.
