I have a question concerning homeowner's insurance after my aunt's death. After my aunt passed away, my mom contacted the insurance, and they increased the payment. My mom must pay out $600 every 3 months until the house is sold. My aunt only payed $65/month. Is this illegal? Should this be so high? Please help me!imported_refuge821MemberMarch 9, 2010 at 9:42 pmPost count: 183
There's some organization (legal – state) that covers this kind of stuff. Even calling some local insurance agents with this question would provide you with some thoughts.imported_IversMemberFebruary 21, 2011 at 11:49 amPost count: 4
I am working as an agent in an insurance company, There is no rule like this.
There must a contract signed by your aunt that after his death the guardian would have to pay this amount.
You and you mom can see the contract paper by asking the company.
