Hi, I have a question. I am building a 2000 sq ft house and I was wondering if it was more cost efficient to build an propane or electric house. I was researching it online and all the answers are different. If you could answer this it would be much appreciated, thank you.

It would probably depend upon the price of electric and propane in your area.  That varies by state and sometimes even counties.  You'd have to find out how much propane is used to heat a house at say 72 degrees and then compare it to a figure for electric.  Possibly the actual companies themselves have such tables and information.

This website may help some if you'd not already been there:

Is natural gas available in your area? Electricity is not very efficient for heating. I live in Michigan and no one really heats with electricity. If you live in like Florida, where you don't have to heat a lot, it might be fine.
