I have a delimma. My grandmother used to make the BEST homemade fudge using pet milk (evaporated milk) instead of whole milk out of the jug. I have been searching and searching for that recipe for over a year now and  I can’t find it, I can’t even find one that even calls for pet milk anymore. Can someone help me? It doesn’t have  to be my granny’s recipe, just one that uses the pet milk. I’d appreciate it. If anyone has it could you please post here in the forum , thank you.

Many food companies post recipes on their corporate website as a means of promoting their product. What I have found is that, because the recipe represents the company, the recipes are usually quite good.

The PET web site has recipes for vanilla fudge and cookies-n-cream fudge.

        Good luck!

          hi  Elizabeth,
I have a great recipe for you, it is very rich!

             2 sticks butter
              1 jar marshmellow cream
              4 1/2 cups sugar
              1 can evaporated milk
              1 teaspoon vanilla
18 oz. milk chocolate or semi-sweet chips
               2 cups roasted nuts
mix milk and sugar in a large pan until it comes to a boil. lower heat and boil for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. add butter, chocolate, vanilla and marshmellow cream and mix well. cool in a buttered 9×13 inch pan. cut into squares before completely hard.
