I'm not a “cat person” but I'm trying to save a 9 yr. old male, declawed cat. He was passed around on craig's list until my neighbor got him.
for 2 weeks he hid under the bed and sneaked out at night to eat. She was going to put him back on Craig's list or outside..I took him to save his life but he will occasionally use the guest room bed rather than the litter box. He craves attention but won't leave the guest room. Is putting him “to sleep” the kindest thing to do?
