My cat is 1 year old and she has a litter box and knows where it is, I clean it out all the time and she still refuses too use it, she goes to the bathroom beside the washer and I have no clue what to do about it because it's every morning before school I have to clean it up and my parents said if I don't quit we have to get rid of her… what should I do about it?
Has she every used the litter box? How often do you clean out her box? Try putting her litter box in the spot where she poops (by the washer i believe). Scoop it out at least twice a day. Have you tried a different litter? Some cats don't like sand like litter only the coarser stuff. Have you put newspaper down where she poops (of course not the litter box)?
