We have some used cloth potholders that are square that we were about to throw out due to showing some normal wear and tear. Instead of throwing them away I wanted to know if any of you know if there are any great uses for them?
I use 2 of mine to make coffee cup cozys for when I am out in the garden and as padding for coasters (with new scrap material outsides) in my family room – which gets hard use and I don't put anything in there that won't take a bit of abuse.
Thanks for these suggested uses. However, I am not real clear if I am understanding correctly. When you say “coffee cup cozy” are you saying that you enclose the cup with the pot holder to protect your hands from the heat? If so, do you have a pattern that you follow since once you cut the pot holder to fit the filling will be free to fall out.
